The ideal candidate will: ● have experience drafting and negotiating agreements relating to the sale, acquisition, leasing and financing of commercial real estate; ● have experience drafting corporate documents, including partnership agreements and corporate resolutions; ● litigation and estate planning experience is a plus; ● have a minimum of 3-5 years of transactional experience in real estate and corporate matters; ● ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision; ● work with clients directly with the supervision of senior attorneys; ● have excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and academic credentials; ● enjoy working with clients from a variety of ethnic backgrounds (proficiency in another language is a plus) ● Identify valuable law firm, title relationships and investment opportunities; ● Responsible for overseeing and accelerating new business growth for the firm by managing, developing and implementing initiatives for our core practice areas by: * Identifying current influencers and referral sources * Developing new referral sources (both inbound and outbound referrals) * Identifying local market opportunities for new business development Salary is competitive with the market and based on the experience of the candidate. Required: Juris Doctorate from an ABA-approved law school and candidate must be in good standing and authorized to practice in the State of Texas.
